Estate and inheritance planning
Pass on more of what you’ve built
A clear plan for your home, savings, pension and business, so your children aren’t left with a tax bill they can’t pay. We work out what your family would owe today, what you can do about it, and put the plan in place.
Who this is for
Parents with a home and savings
Your home, pension and savings together may be worth more than €420,000 per child. You want to know what your children would actually pay, and how to reduce it.
Company directors and business owners
You’d like to pass the company to a son or daughter one day. Business Relief and Capital Gains Tax Retirement Relief can save a great deal, but only if the conditions are met years in advance.
People approaching or in retirement
You’re deciding what to do with a pension or Approved Retirement Fund, helping children with a deposit, or updating your will, and want it all to add up.
What you get
Your family’s tax position today
A clear estimate of the inheritance tax each of your children would pay if your estate passed to them now, using the thresholds that apply from 7 October 2026.
The reliefs that apply to you
We check the Small Gift Exemption, Dwelling House Exemption, Business Relief, Agricultural Relief and Capital Gains Tax reliefs against your actual circumstances.
A written plan
What to give, when, and to whom; how your pension and Approved Retirement Fund will pass on; and how any remaining bill will be paid, including a Section 72 policy where it makes sense.
Reviews as life and tax rules change
Thresholds moved in Budget 2027 and may move again. We review your plan when they do, and when your family’s circumstances change.

Frequently asked questions
Do you write wills?
No. Wills are drafted by your solicitor. We work out the financial side, such as who receives what, the tax each person would pay and how it will be funded, and share it with your solicitor so the will reflects the plan.
How much can my children inherit tax-free?
From 7 October 2026, each child can receive €420,000 from their parents over their lifetime without paying inheritance tax. Gifts and inheritances from both parents count against the same threshold. Our inheritance tax guide explains how it works.
Is it too late to plan if I’m already retired?
No. Annual gifts, how you draw down your Approved Retirement Fund and a Section 72 policy can all still make a difference. The earlier you start, the more options you have.
What does it cost?
The first meeting is free and there’s no obligation. If you’d like us to go further, we’ll quote a fee in writing before any work begins.
